In lieu of flowers, the family of Lesley Michael Morales' asks that you consider a donation to defray the cost of funeral expenses. Contributions of any amount are appreciated. Please continue keeping Lesley Michael Morales' family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
Lesley Michael Morales, who could always make us laugh, went home to Jesus on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020. We will greatly miss our talks with him, his contagious laugh, his creative ideas, his giving heart, his kindness, and his comforting words in times of need.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, and had a gift for carpentry like no one else we know. He was so passionate about his work and knew how to keep himself busy with many projects.
Lesley is survived by his parents, Michael T. and Veronica Morales; daughter, Destiny Morales; sister, Kandy Falgoust; brother-in-law, Chris Falgoust; niece, Brittany Miller; and nephews, Todd Cook Jr., Cam and Dex Falgoust.
It is hard to believe that he is no longer with us, but we are holding fast to the hope of eternal glory and knowing that all things work together for good for God’s children.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Gramercy located at 1046 N Airline Ave, Gramercy, LA 70052. Visitation will begin at 3PM on Friday December 11, 2020 followed by the service at 4 PM.

One of my fondest memory is the time Leslie came to stay with us & we all decided to eat at Piccadilly. I happen to look back at his & Anthony’s tray and it was loaded down with food. Needless to say they didn’t eat it all & they got sick.

I remember when you brought me & Destiny to the fair in Thibodaux. It was my first fair! We stopped at sonic first and I threw it all up after riding the rides! You reminded me of my dad in a way that day, but you were genuinely kind. Your eyes were kind and you longed for life to be easier for you. You only wanted yourself and your daughter to be happy... & she is, and now you get to be also. You’re forever in my heart & I will always pray for your baby girl and watch over your beautiful sister, who also loves you with every part of her soul. She talked about her childhood with you with this passion in her eyes... you were everything to her & you still are. The best thing about our souls though, is that, they never die, so even though you may not be visible to the human eye, I know that you are not far and will be with your two angels on earth forever. I am sending positive vibes to your entire family because they miss you dearly! Take care Mr. Leslie & please, tell Jesus I said Hello <3

The first thing that comes to my mind is the time you brought Destiny and I to blue bayou, but first we stopped and you got us McDonalds! I remember being SO excited that you got us a 20 piece nugget because before then I didn’t even know there was such a thing! Now every time I’m at McDonalds and I see the 20 piece on their menu I think about you. I remember when I was 18 and on the way home from a study session at Nicholls and I got my first flat tire at 10:30 at night and panicked. I called you before even calling my own dad because y’all were living nearby at the time and you dropped everything to come and change my tire for me so I wasn’t alone on the side of the right in the middle of night. These are 2 memories I know I will always carry with me !
