Gwyn Burton Carlin, born March 7, 1963, in Baton Rouge, LA. She passed away on February 23, 2024, at age 60. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver to all those in need. Gwyn enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, going to the beach, and taking photos. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her. Gwyn is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Kenny, her son Dale, and daughter Leigh Anne Harrell with husband Juston, 2 grandchildren, Tommy Jase and Audrey Claire. Also survived by her brothers and sisters, Diane Tanner, Debbie Dunetz, Gary Burton and wife Maria, Tim Burton and wife Annette, and Chris Burton and wife Tonya; Father-in law Terry Carlin and Mother-in law Rene Carlin. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Odette Burton. Cremation is under the direction of Church’s Funeral and Crematory in Baton Rouge, LA with a private family and friends celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
