Leon Pierre Bourgeois, born on July 15, 1937 in St. Amant, LA, passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Leon loved LSU, Joe Burrow, and anything Western.
Leon is survived by his children, Keith Bourgeois, Bonnie Rodriguez (Randy), Terri Jacob (Rickie), and Scott Bourgeois (Rebecca); 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his spouse, Lottie Bourgeois; his parents, Eve and Constant Bourgeois; his son, Eric Clyde Bourgeois; grandchild, Harrison Melancon; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jasen Templet, Alex Templet, Rory Bourgeois, Randy Rodriguez, Jr., Eric Jacob, and Nicholas Jacob. Honorary Pallbearer will be Slade Jacob.
Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 am. Burial to follow in Church Cemetery.
