Before returning to his home state of Louisiana in 2016, Greg and Susie Clark spent three decades raising their 3 boys in Colorado. Most of his career was in the banking & technology industry. His move back to Louisiana was primarily to acquire ownership of a funeral home in partnership with his brother Mike, a funeral director for 35 years.
In the early years in banking, Greg’s journey crossed paths with Kevin King, a passionate & creative programmer, who would go on to establish his own software solutions firm for the distribution industry called Precision Solutions. Kevin’s been at the helm of his team for over 20 years, while his wife Kim has tended to their 3 kids, all grown now.
As Greg’s funeral business grew, his path intersected with Alex Velasquez, an efficiency expert with a heart of gold and the skills to match. Alex and his wife Adele have raised 4 sons and daughters while working with executives to establish strategies to bring more value to their clients.
ILOF.com® was conceived after months of brainstorming about ways to provide a better and more compassionate experience to families facing the loss of loved ones. As we ourselves have all experienced loss, we intimately understand the value of compassion and caring for the needs of others through the hardest times of their lives.
And so, as the road would take us, ILOF.com® has become a tool that provides a secure way for relatives and friends to make donations to the family to help them better memorialize their loved one.
Having rolled it out with Greg’s own funeral home as the beta site two years ago, and breaking ground with half a dozen other funeral home partners, our next turn on this road is expanding partnerships with hundreds of others throughout this next year so that they also may be of great help to their own families.
