Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lynch was born January 14, 1950 in Bastrop, LA and passed from this life on September 30, 2018 in Monroe, LA at the age of 68. Tommy was a kind and caring man and loved his family. When Dad was sick, Tommy came home to take care of him. When Mother was sick, he came home to take care of her. He did what needed to be done with a heart of love and with humble service. We are so thankful to Tommy for serving in love and helping so much when he was needed. He always had a ready smile when he saw the family he loved. He made you feel like seeing you was the best part of his day. When anyone prepared a meal for him, he would brag on just how good it was and how much he enjoyed and appreciated it. He enjoyed good company, good fellowship, and good times with those he loved. Tommy loved to laugh and to share a joke and moment of laughter. He could always see the humor in day to day life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ray Lynch, Sr.; his mother, Mable Lynch Storms and step-father, Duane S. Storms; and nephew, John Larry Walters, Jr.
Survivors include his two children, Tracey Lynch Jenkins and husband, Travis, and Stephen Thomas Lynch and wife, Shayla; three grandchildren, Sadie Alexis Jenkins, Makayla Renea Lynch, and Justin Curtis Lynch; one sister, Delia Gay Walters and husband, Larry; three brothers, David Glynn Lynch, Robert Joseph Lynch and wife, Teresa, and Gary Scott Lynch and wife, LaDonna; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Garrison Lynch, Dewayne Day, Huey Allen Smith, Allen Smith, Chuck Poole and Glenn Copeland.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Aunt Marie Smith, Huey Allen Smith, and Allen Smith for all the love you have shown in your acts of service to help our family when Tommy was so sick.
