Ann Laurie Allen Perck has passed away on November 9, 2023, in Baton Rouge, LA. Born on January 18, 1957, in Lutcher, LA, Ann brought warmth and cheer to everyone she encountered throughout her remarkable life. She was a devoted wife to Robert John Perck and a loving mother to Elizabeth Wise, Eric Perck, and Alicia Perck.
Laurie's kind and welcoming nature made her a cherished figure among family and friends. She radiated love towards her grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them and witnessing their achievements.
In addition to being a dedicated employee at Walmart, where she served as a department manager with unwavering commitment and professionalism throughout her career, Ann had diverse interests that added color to her life. Gardening and tending to her flowerbeds allowed her to connect with nature and create beautiful landscapes. Laurie also had a talent for drawing; her artistic creations were admired by many.
Laurie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gatis Allen. Grandchildren: Mason and Clancey Solar, Kilee Perck, and Ashlyn Burch. As well as her brother Kerry Allen.
She is survived by her spouse Robert John Perck, whose life was brightened by her unwavering love and support every day. Her daughter Elizabeth Wise, son Eric Perck, daughter Alicia Perck, and siblings: Keith Allen (Elaine), Shelia Ruesgeh, Lorna Allen, Malcolm Allen, Marla Duplessis (Kevin), Clark Allen, and Kirby Allen. Survived as well by her grandchildren: Clint Boe Jr (Blyth), Balycen Richey, Waylon Wise, Blaze and Autumn Dumas (Britt), Kaine Perck, Liam Soper, Konner Smith, Ariana Alford, and Isabella. Her great grandchildren Sawyer and Olivia. Also numerous brothers and sisters-in- law that carry her loving memory.
Ann Laurie Allen Perck leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that touched countless lives. She will forever be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and love for her family. May her soul rest in eternal peace as her influence continues to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A funeral service will be held in honor of Ann's memory on November 25, 2023. The service will take place at The Church International St. Amant in St Amant, LA. Friends and family members can gather to pay their respects starting from 10:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM.
