A gathering celebrating the life of Billy R. “Bo” Simmons, Jr., will be announced later.
Bo was born in Baton Rouge on May 8, 1981, and departed from this life on November 11, 2023, at the age of 42 years. He was a resident of Maurepas, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his father Billy R. Simmons Sr., his mother Patricia Taravella Simmons, and a brother Rikki Simmons.
Survivors include his sons Landon Simmons and Billy “B J” Simmons III, siblings Edward “Bubba” Simmons and Edward “Eddie” Summers, also survived by other relatives and friends.
