With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Celestina Marie Christen, lovingly known as “Big Teen” and “Camooche,” on January 22, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 21, 1961, to the late Juanita Rita Linton and James Luther Linton, Celestina lived a life filled with love, creativity, and devotion to those around her.

Celestina devoted her early years to raising her children as a stay-at-home mother, creating a warm and nurturing home full of love. Later, she built a successful career as the owner and operator of Kirby Vacuum Cleaners, where her determination and entrepreneurial spirit shined.

She was the proud mother of three children: Tasha Renee Christen, Torie Lynn Christen, Norbin Louis Steve Coleman II and daughter-n-law Holly Eve Coleman. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Christen Adam Gilreath, Maya Skye Gilreath, Andrew Joseph Carr, and Ella Rose Parker, and her beloved great-granddaughters, Annabelle Tuthill and Esther Bartram. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Tammy Jean Watkins, Theresa Comeau Lester, and Clinton George Comeau Sr., along with extended family and friends.

Celestina will be remembered for her incredible cooking, her talent for writing and poetry, her flair for the camera, and her love of a lively celebration. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering support for family and friends will remain a lasting legacy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her home, where her loved ones will gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought to so many.

Celestina’s remarkable life reminds us of the power of love, laughter, and togetherness. She will forever remain in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Celestina Christen who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so. The family will use these to honor Celestina Christens life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
