Cheryl Lynn Hina, lovingly known as Sherrie, dedicated her life to ensuring quality in the construction industry as a skilled and diligent Quality Controller. She was born on October 4, 1958, in Niagara Falls, New York, where she blossomed into a compassionate, kind-hearted individual who touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Unfortunately, on December 2, 2023, after facing an extended illness, Cheryl passed away at St Clair Manor Baton Rouge in Louisiana.

Cheryl's greatest passion and source of joy were unquestionably her daughters and family. She poured her heart and soul into cherishing and nurturing them throughout her life. Her dedication and unconditional love knew no bounds as she tirelessly devoted herself to their happiness and wellbeing. Cheryl's daughters, Katie Jeffries and Laura Mess, were truly blessed to have had such an exceptional mother who consistently showed them the importance of love, perseverance, and kindness.

Aside from her commitment to family life, Cheryl embraced various hobbies and interests that enriched her days. She found great pleasure in watching TV Game Shows that challenged both her mind and spirit. In addition to indulging in the excitement of these programs, Cheryl also reveled in the nostalgic tunes of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The melodies that filled her home brought back treasured memories while adding a touch of joy to every moment.

Cheryl Hina not only excelled in cultivating a sense of love among her family but also formed strong bonds with numerous friends over the years. Her warm smile and genuine interest in others drew people towards her effortlessly. Cheryl's magnetic presence left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was born Cheryl Lynn Hardin to Joanne Harms on that beautiful day in Niagara Falls; however, when she married David T. Hina, she embraced a new name that perfectly encapsulated her essence—Sherrie. Throughout their years together, Cheryl and David built a harmonious life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Though they may be separated by physical distance now, the love they shared will endure in their hearts forever.

Cheryl was also lucky to have the steadfast companionship of her three brothers: Rod, Wayne, and Rick Harden. Their strong sibling bond brought joy and camaraderie to Cheryl's life, as they navigated both joys and challenges together.

Today, we bid farewell to Cheryl Lynn Hina; however, her memories will continue to permeate our hearts eternally. Her legacy serves as a reminder of the importance of family, love, and cherishing every moment. May her soul find eternal peace as she joins the celestial choir above.
