Clyde Joseph “C.J.” Boudreaux, Jr., a native of Dutchtown and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde, Sr. and Lucille Diez Boudreaux and sister Gloria ‘Babydoll’ White. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mammie Street Boudreaux; son Dale Boudreaux (Daralyn), daughters Tina Linder (Barry), Jill Rabalais (Jimmy), and Kelli LeBlanc (Paul); grandchildren Randi Langlois (Jorick), Amber and Craig Hodges, Chase and Evan Boudreaux, Brody and Carter LeBlanc, Brock (Trisha) and Benjy (Katie) Linder, Rebekah Paxson (Zach), Matt (Courtney) and Jessica Rabalais; great grandchildren Michael, Joseph, and Eli Langlois, and many bonus-great grandchildren; a brother Solly Boudreaux (Louise), sisters Grace Marchand & Cecilia Champton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Dutchtown High School where he played football and was a Louisiana High School All-State Running Back. He served his country as a member of the Army National Guard. He retired from BASF as a Chemical Coatings Inspector.

C.J. was an avid sportsman, football fan and gardener. However, his true passion was woodworking; he carved numerous wooden bowls and crafted many unique wooden tables for family and friends and even won awards for some of his wood duck carvings…he was a true craftsman woodworker. C.J. would have celebrated his 83rd birthday on Sunday, October 27.

The family would like to thank the staff of Clarity Hospice and a newfound friend and nurse Kim Marionneaux.
