Thinking of all the wonderful memories I shared with Dot and the Kanada family. She was a beautiful person and the best MawMaw to my children and grandchildren God ever created. I love Dot and I will really miss her smile, her hugs and her delicious food. I'll especially miss the conversations with Dot on the phone solving life's challenges. My prayers and condolences are with the family. Her memory is forever in my heart. With Love Angie & Dave Phillips

The best memory I have of my loving sweet Nanny was the time I spent shrimping with them on Uncle Sammy’s boat and their camp they had near Grand Isle. I’ll never forget the many Summers I spent in Baton Rouge either. She was loving to my children and the LOVE she poured out to all her family. She will be missed. Fly High with the Angels Nanny. Til we meet again.

Mrs. Dot was a special lady to me and Ralph, loved and admired her for her faith in God and the love of her family. We cherish the memories we shared with her at family events. She most certainly lived by the words “Treat your family like friends and your friends like family”...Unknown

Give her eternal rest Oh Lord, and may your light shine on her forever.
