A gathering celebrating the life of Elizabeth “Liz” Hunter will be held on Sunday January 3, 2021 from 2 pm until 4 pm at the Woodman of the World Building Urania, LA
Liz was born in Montgomery, LA on June 13, 1954 and passed from this life on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Main Campus unexpectedly at the age of 66 years.
She was a resident of Sikes, LA, a homemaker, and a member of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and especially working the concession stand at the local auction; and she loved time spent with her family. She will be remembered as being “Mother Hen” to everyone that she knew.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Elda Lea White Adams and a sister “Bob” Ingles.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years Ricky Hunter; children Kitsy George (Ronny), and Chance Hunter (Kayla), sister Hootie Carter (David), grandchildren Jacob, Emma, Keria, Amelia, Caroline, and Toby, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Liz was always smiling. She loved life and family. Her words to me was so heartfelt and loving over my daughters passing. We will Truely miss her. She was such a good friend. Someone I could talk to about anything. She is in Heaven with my daughter smiling down on us. We love you Liz!
