Fred was always a sweet kid and grew into a kind man. When we would go back to Louisiana for visits and visit Aunt Tete he always made an effort to come over to see us. And it was always appreciated.
Rest In Peace, dear Fred.

I met Fred through his family when I was about 11 or 12. When he was over visiting the family I would ask him to bring me to the store. We would always stop down a dead end road on the way back and he would let me drive. Thanks to him I learned how to drive a stick shift. He was always so happy and smiling. I’m saddened of his loss and he will be missed by all that knew him. Rest In Peace Fred.

I remember when Wanda came home from the hospital with Fred. We were living next door. I was 10 years old and couldn't wait for them to get home so I could see the new baby. He was a precious baby and grew up to be a fine man. I will always remember him as being selfless, caring and giving. He will be truly missed.

Me and poppy were very close. We use to live next door to each other in Dutchtown. He was just like one of my Grandpa’s. He was the one who helped my mom whenever I had my first seizure. He would always invite us over and I would love to go visit poppy. Even if it was to go get some Ginger Snaps. Poppy as I heard about your death I take it very hard and you will always be in my heart. I will always remember the memories we had. I love you Tracy and I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. You guys were just like family and I love you guys so much. Look over me Poppy I love you so much. Rest In Peace Poppy.
