Joyce Eppinett passed away 12/29/2018 at the age of 70, at her home in St. Amant, LA. from effects of Alzheimer disease. She was born in Grenada, MS but spent most of her life in and around the Baton Rouge area, graduating from Istrouma High in 1966. Joyce retired in 2011 from Dr. Patricia Fernandez’s dental office, where she was the office manager for many years. Throughout her life she enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, fishing with her husband and was an excellent cook. Most of all, she was a very caring person with family and friends coming first. She is preceded in death by her Mother Mildred Cumberland and Stepfather Buford Cumberland. Joyce is survived by her husband Daniel, whom she married when they were seniors in high school. She is also survived by her daughter Tracie Bourgeois (Jamie) of St. Amant, LA, son Blake Eppinett (Kim) of Tomball, TX., three grandson Rantz Bourgeois, Calep Eppinett, Briggs Bourgeois, and numerous other relatives. Also, thanks to “The Group” to whom she had lots of good times throughout the years and her coworkers who stood with her thru trying times. Thanks to the great care given to her by Notre Dame Hospice, and Tas Harry, who kept us all upbeat. Celebration of life will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, La at 10 am on Wednesday January 2, 2019; visitation will begin at 9 am.
