A ceremony celebrating the life of Linda M. Ferguson will be held at Lanier Baptist Church, with visitation on Friday January 3, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, will resume on Saturday January 4, 2025, at 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Graveside service will be held on Monday January 6, 2025, at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary.

Mrs. Ferguson was born in Baton Rouge on October 1, 1942, to the union of the late Farrel and Lucille Nugent McDaniel, and rested from this life on Monday December 30, 2024, at the age of 82 years.

I remember Ms Linda painted a beautiful picture. She added words at the bottom. I touched the words thinking they were dry. I smeared them. She removed the words. She was not happy but did not fuss at me. I felt terrible. She mentioned it when I saw her last and smiled. I love and miss her. Her smile said it all.
