Mary Lorraine White Wolbrecht, 85, died peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Loraine is preceded in death by her husband George Wolbrecht. She is survived by her siblings Hugh (Linda) White, Francis Parker, Christine Dyess and Charles White.
Lorraine was born on December 2, 1939 to the late Hugh L. and Gertrude White in Bassfield, Mississippi. She is survived by 3 children and their spouses: Tim Montgomery (Marcelle), Jackie Graugnard (Milton) and Tracy Cornejo (Marcello). 12 grandchildren: Paul Montgomery (Taylor Steele), Lauren Hood (Andrew), Jessica Montgomery, Lindsey Foret (Derek), Adam Hubbard, Lukas Hubbard, Gregory Graugnard (Carlye), Mary Grace Louis, Taryn Cornejo, Meghan Rather (Mike) and Sarah Tullier (Zack), 11 great grandchildren: Grace and Lucy Hood, Bice, Mary Milton and Madelyn Foret, Davis and Ashton Graugnard, Elizabeth Louis, Amelia Montgomery and Jordan and Emmaline Rather.
Lorraine had numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends, including the infamous "6 Pack" and the Jefferson Place condominiums "Wine Wednesday" ladies, and her beloved dog, JR.
Lorraine was a real estate broker who owned D&L Properties in New Orleans and bought and sold many properties in Louisiana and Mississippi.
She raised her children in Morgan City, La and has resided in New Orleans, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and most recently in Baton Rouge La.
Lorraine had a passion for helping others and worked tirelessly to help those in need without ever drawing attention to herself. She treasured her time with family and friends. Lorraine, or "Wildcat" as she was affectionately known, will be greatly missed by everyone she knew.
Visitation will be at Jefferson United Methodist Church, 10328 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809 on Friday April 4th, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with memorial services beginning at 11:00 am. A private burial will take place at a later date in Prentiss, Mississippi with family
