It is heartfelt sadness to announce that Nancy Tucker Beam rested from this life on Thursday February 13, 2025, at The Crossing of Clarity Hospice, Baton Rouge after a brief illness.
She was born in New Orleans on October 27, 1954, a 1972 graduate of Glen Oaks School, and a current resident of Denham Springs.
She enjoyed bowling, playing pool, bingo, Pokeno and going to the casino. She had a passion for and loved “The Wizard of Oz”, “Gone with the Wind”, “Ghost”, and the music of Gary Pucket Celine Dion, Diana Ross, and the Supremes.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years William T. Beam Jr., parents William Tucker III and Violet Byrnes Tucker, sister Deborah “Debbie” Tucker Landry, grandparents Hattie “Baum” Hymel Mogler, William Tucker II, Viola Byrnes Lowe and Louis P. Byrnes, nephews William Ray Tucker and Chad Zimmerle, and best friend Pat Corley.
Survivors include her children Terry Bamburg Jr., and wife Jessica, Tara Bamburg, Tracy Bamburg Scott and husband Robert, grandchildren Dani Gotti, Justin Scott, Reese Bamburg, Dawson Scott, and Chanlee Scott, Godson James Zimmerle and wife Ashley, nieces and nephews Zane Zimmerle, Tracy Tucker, Treva Tucker, Tricia Tucker, Susie Wingate, Jesse Wingate and wife Haleigh, also survived by a host of great nieces, great nephews and lifelong friend Debbie White.
