With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nina R. Gustin, who left this world peacefully on March 4, 2025, while holding her husband’s hand of 60 years. She was 82 years old.
Nina was born to Mae and Robert Reynolds on March 5, 1942, in Morganza, Louisiana. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, where she served as treasurer for many years, for which she received an award.
However, her greatest joy was her family- her children, Vonda (Melissa) Martin, Rhonda (Delano) Cline, and Darrin (Traci) Gustin; her beloved grandchildren, Anya, Grayson, Brandon (“hop-along”), and great-grandchild, Skylar.
She is survived by her husband, Fay Roch (“Rock”) Gustin, children, and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Nina’s light, love, and generosity of spirit touched everyone who knew her. Though she is gone, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Nina’s memory by performing an act of kindness. Any donations should be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church or your chosen charity.
