In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred for Rory, to honor him, by his family through St Joseph Hospice The Carpenter House. The family appreciates any gifts of love that is received.
Celebration of his life will be held on Monday 12/17/18 at St Theresa Catholic Church Gonzales beginning at 9 am till Mass at 11 am.
Rory was born on February 2, 1957 and departed from this life on Wednesday December 12, 2018 at the age of 61 years.
He was a resident of Baton Rouge; a proud member and past president of Local # 198; he had a passion to improve Workers rights and benefits. He was an avid fan of football, and especially the University of Alabama. He enjoyed Mardi Gras, golf and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Nadine Daigle Sheets and his in-laws Jack and Flo Green.
Survivors include his wife Deborah “Deb” Sheets; son Karl and Tiffany Jukkola; siblings Sue and Clint McGee, Kippy and Dayna Sheets, Kay and Jerry Diez, Jeff and Tonia Sheets, Dee and Brett Babin; his Godchild Carli Sheets, Lulu Linda McNeil, “RoRo’s Lil Pelicans” grandchildren Keegan and Kolton Jukkola; his brother-in-law Jack Green and wife Cathy; his canine companion “Pteaux”, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
