Sherri Smith was born on September 23, 1965 and passed away on July 5, 2024. She was a kind and gentle soul. She loved the outdoors and fishing was her favorite thing to do. She leaves behind her husband of 17 years James Pourcey. Her sons Barry Smith Jr (Heidi), Brandon Smith, and Chance Pourcey (Christina), and step son Corey. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sisters Lana Baldwin (David) and Lanee Brown (Albert). She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Wallace Mike Little and Betty Lou Ellis, as well as a sister Lea Ann Holden.

This is my last memory of my sister was in April for my 60th birthday her and Bubba came down to Sarita‘s in Marepas an ate some fajitas and cake with me an our baby sister Lanee main, Lanee, husband and David, my husband and my grandson William and his girlfriend and my little grandson maze. We had a real good time and we took a bunch of pictures with me her and Lanee on the Bench out front of Sarita’s I love you, sis. I’m gonna miss you.

The way this woman lover her grandbabies and kids like nothing I have seen before the love she had for Bubba was something I will have in 11 years she has always went out of her way to make sure you had a smile on your face she always happy but that one time you piss her of or mess with one of her own you would she would pop like the little firework she wss you where loved by so many people we hate to see you go but one thing for sure you can breath all by your self now and you not in pain if I would had Known 2 days ago laying in your bed would have been the last time seeing you I would have never left I love you momma Sherri

She was my best friend spent the 1st of every month together paid our bills went out to eat then would take care of us been knowing her for over 20 years we lost contact for little while would visit with her and bubba a least once a week talked to sherri every day 3 to 4 times a day she was my best bud we watched stories and smoked our medical I am lost without her already we had many good times will b missed and loved by all she been there for me a long time love u my friend Deborah
