Hope and I were discussing our favorite memories with Nana and we both agree on getting to celebrate Destiny’s bridal shower and getting to be at church with them.
With the assistance of the bridesmaids, Hope and I tried to make sure Destiny’s shower was great and Nana knew how to support us in order to ensure that Destiny had a perfect day.
Getting to go to church with Nana and Papa was a blessing. You could feel the love of God and the love for people they have. Nana made sure you didn’t sit by yourself, encouraged you in every way she could, and a hug from her would whisk away any bit of sadness you felt. We loved getting to hear her sing and now she’s leading the worship team in Heaven. What a treat!
We are so blessed to have been able to go to school with Destiny and Dakota and get to be so close to Nana and Papa as well as all the Odom’s, Morgan’s, and Stokes. The sweetest family in the world for sure. Hope and I also felt honored when we first met Destiny because we got to go home and tell our Nannie that Destiny was our friend and she told us that her and my Papa use to eat with the Meyers in Covington after church. Like a generational family connection got to continue. I know my Nannie and Papa are worshiping in Heaven with her.
All the love and prayers
